- Trailhead Institute Board of Directors approves the operating budget on a yearly basis.

- Each project and program maintains individual budgets, which are monitored and maintained by Trailhead Institute staff in partnership with the projects.
In 2016, Trailhead Institute (formerly the Colorado Foundation for Public Health and Environment) provided fiscal and administrative services totaling over $2 million. For more detailed information about our work, we invite you to review descriptions of our current projects and past projects.
Our organization completes two specific audits each year: common Nonprofit 501c3 Audit and a compliance audit. We are pleased to make all of these reports readily available to the public.
