A graduate of both RIHEL and the Colorado School of Public Health, Sarah has worked in the public health field for over 10 years, including conducting research and evaluation in community development; leading processes for coalition development; developing and implementing medical education assessment and evaluation; and managing, directing and carrying out research on school health, built environment, and health public health systems. She has demonstrated a persistent passion for eliminating health inequities and building community collaborations to achieve positive public health outcomes. She has worked for Trailhead for the last five years in varying roles.

Chief Operating Officer
Lisa directs overall operations at Trailhead as well as the strategic leadership, organizational development, internal infrastructure and new business development of the organization. In this role, Lisa supports the mission through maximizing the best assets of the organization – its employees and partnerships. She was the executive director at Colorado Youth Matter from 2013-2016 and prior to that, led the Healthy Colorado Youth Alliance. In addition to her work with Trailhead, Lisa is a leadership consultant and trainer working in the public and nonprofit sectors.

Chief Financial Officer
Patricia is responsible for the financial stewardship of Trailhead Institute while continuing to build out system infrastructure created by her predecessors. Before she joined Trailhead, Patricia served as the CFO for the Voqal group of companies, which use FCC-granted educational broadband service spectra to create an educated, empowered, and engaged public. She earned her MS in Accounting from the University of Colorado at Denver and holds CPA and AICPA Not-for-Profit certifications.

In addition to maintaining the day-to-day operations of Trailhead’s office, Nikki works in Human Resources, participating in the onboarding process of new employees, reviewing policies and procedures, and assisting employees with their various employment needs. She collaborates on external communications and assists on projects and programs as needed. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Theatre Arts from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.

Holly leads the Working to Institutionalize Sex Ed (WISE) program that supports schools in order to prepare our nation’s youth for life-long health and well being. She works directly with school staff to create a sustainable, sexuality education program that meets the local needs of the school and the students they serve. She has worked in the field of youth sexual health for over four years. Holly earned her Masters in Social Work from the University of Denver and a Bachelor’s degree from James Madison University.

Ruthie lends their training expertise to Trailhead as our Training Manager and focuses on curriculum development and engagement in Partnership Development, Sustainability, Grant Administration, Sexual Health and more! Additionally, they support the development of the sexual health educator’s training cadre. Ruthie has a background in reproductive health and education across the lifespan. They are passionate about creating learning-centered educational experiences that help create change in communities.

Ben oversees the Administrative Partnership Program, supporting our various projects’ and programs’ development and operations. Additionally, Ben supports the Colorado Clinical Translational Sciences Institute’s Community Engagement Pilot Grants Program by providing technical assistance and administrative support. Prior to joining Trailhead Institute, Ben worked at Mile High United Way managing and writing grants for their internal programs.

Tyler coordinates with our Administrative Partners and our Programmatic team members to ensure their expenses are properly documented and paid in a timely manner. He also provides support in creating budgets, and generates a variety of reports for our partners and funders to ensure that their spending is on track and in line with their budgets. He studied at the Ohio State University and earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics.

WISE Program Manager
Adrienne is the Program Manager for the WISE (Working to Institutionalize Sex Ed) Program, which supports schools in order to prepare our nation’s youth for life-long health and well being. She partners with school staff to help implement and coordinate a sustainable sexual health education plan that is specific to the needs of their student population. Prior to joining Trailhead, Adrienne worked as a Health Educator at Denver Health in two of their School-Based Health Centers (SBHC).

Program Director, Mountain Roots Healthy Futures Program
Lyndie Kenlon is responsible for the implementation of program site management, community engagement, and administration compliant with the National AmeriCorps requirements. Lyndie served as a consultant for the program’s planning grant in 2017 – 2018. Prior to joining Trailhead Institute and the Healthy Futures Program, she was part of a team to open a new science and nature center in Monticello, Utah as the Marketing Manager. Lyndie is born and raised in Colorado and holds a BA in Psychology from University of Wyoming.
Executive Director, Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative
Jaime leads efforts to grow the CPCQC organization to advance the mission of improving the health and well-being of women and infants throughout our state. She develops infrastructure and funding that is necessary to expand the reach of the organization and also fosters relationships with local, state and federal organizations, clinicians, hospitals, elected officials and families. She has extensive experience in strategic planning, business development, resource management, operations and finance. Jaime earned a Masters of Public Health from UCLA with a focus on management & policy and a Bachelors degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Executive Director, North Central Regional Healthcare Coalition
Michelle is an affiliate employee who works directly with the North Central Regional Healthcare Coalition as their Regional Planner. In her role, she coordinates all-hazards emergency preparedness planning and projects. Prior to joining our team, Michelle was the Environmental Health and Safety Manager for the state’s largest substance use disorder treatment provider, focusing primarily on the development of a comprehensive safety program. Michelle earned her Master’s in Forensic Psychology from the University of Denver.
