Trailhead Institute’s Youth Sexual Health Program works with school districts, organizations that serve youth, and public health providers to ensure they have access to professional development and trainings on topics related to young people’s health and development.
Trainings are rooted in building skills to ensure that communities have the knowledge and resources to support young people in living happy and healthy lives. There are many professional development providers in Colorado who offer trainings related to youth sexual health and well-being. Trailhead is committed to ensuring that communities access the resources they need, whether offered from Trailhead staff or a fellow professional development provider.

Sam Casanova | Statewide | Sam Casanova (she/they) identifies as a Black Queer Femme Educator and Researcher who facilitates and designs curriculum that centers the needs of folks on the margins, specifically queer and trans people of color (QTPOCs). Casanova has over 6 years of educational experience and currently works as a sexual health educator discussing a range of reproductive health and intimacy-based topics in the Denver-metro area. Casanova also works as a curriculum designer who supports community members with creating culturally responsive programming around intersecting identities including race, gender and sexuality. |
