Onboarding for Host Supervisors and Members
We are excited to assist you in your experience with Trailhead and the Colorado Public Health Works Program. In this first week of your position, we hope you can schedule time to review the onboarding prepared for you.
Members, please share your organizational email and we can update your contact information this week to receive program emails at your organization.
Below are some program training opportunities for both Members and Supervisors. Attendance is HIGHLY Recommended.
Onboarding Materials
The Trailhead Institute Workforce Programs & Initiatives team has developed comprehensive micro-learning videos to assist you in onboarding for the Colorado Public Health Works program. Supervisors and members should schedule a time to review these videos and resources.
Be sure to download the helpful handouts and get started with your Development Reflection Tool. Members, you can review this document with your supervisor to outline training and on the job learning. You may email us at workforce@trailhead.institute about any questions for support.
Colorado Public Health Works Summit
Trailhead Institute hosts a Colorado Public Summit every year in the Spring and Fall. The Summit is a great opportunity to learn from and connect with fellow service members and their mentors, public health experts, and workforce development leaders for a day of learning and key discussions about roles in public health, impact on communities, and future careers. The event is either in-person or hybrid.
Virtual Learning Community
Join us for every month for 30 minutes meeting to discuss general updates, cross-collaboration, and career pathways and support.
Schedule a Follow Up Meeting with a Member of Our Team!
You can share times you are available in the next two weeks to review and ask questions of our team and discuss the opportunities of the program. We try to customize this a much as possible and love to hear about your experience.
Our Colorado Public Health Works Team
Jennifer is responsible for leading and directing statewide initiatives to develop and implement strategies to build and sustain a successful public health workforce.
Together with the workforce team, Kayla supports innovative workforce development and demonstrates progress toward statewide collaborative priorities.
Lyndie serves as Trailhead’s AmeriCorps Senior Program Manager where she is collaboratively leading efforts to evolve Colorado’s public health workforce through the integration of AmeriCorps and public health apprenticeship programs.
Juan joins our Finance team as manager of Trailhead’s finances where he supports program and project budgeting; ensures contract compliance; and manages Accounts Receivable Billings.
