Lucy’s professional career has always surrounded advocacy specific to outdoor access. Taking the leap into public health aligns with her personal mission and view that without proper access to healthcare, we cannot enjoy the things we love to do in our wonderful state. Lucy lives in Steamboat Springs and when she’s not busy connecting communities, you can find her on her bike or backcountry skis with her goofy pup, Grisman. She’s also been taking her side quests of knitting and ceramics pretty seriously lately, and is an avid lover of live music.

Regional Health Connectors are relationship builders.

Focusing at the systems level, RHCs build and bridge connections with primary care providers, public health organizations, social and behavioral health services, and other community resources to ensure that these partners have knowledge of and access to resources available within their region to meet the needs of their community.

In Region 11, Lucy fosters key relationships across:

  • Recovery specialists

  • Behavioral health specialists

  • Mental health advocacy groups

About the Health Partnership

The Health Partnership serves as the hub to ensure that systems are working efficiently and effectively to help people overcome economic, cultural, and health-related barriers, including any perceived stigma. They work together to reduce health inequities by opening doors to resources in the communities they support, and work closely with public health partners to identify gaps in health and well-being within their communities and facilitate collaborative solutions to close those gaps.
