Erika Greenberg (She/Her)

Erika Greenberg is a Regional Health Connector (RHC) serving Logan, Morgan, Phillips, Sedgwick, Washington, and Yuma counties that make up Region 1 of Colorado’s Health Statistics Regions. She is hosted by Centennial Area Health Education Center.

As a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience, Erika Greenberg leverages her expertise to promote health education in rural communities, targeting both current health-focused students and professionals. Hosted by Centennial Area Health Education Center, this RHC has curated a traveling exhibit based on the 4 A's of behavioral health services identified by the National Rural Health Association: accessibility, availability, affordability, and acceptability. The exhibit visited each of the region's eight counties and provided information on where and when to access local resources, as well as facilitated conversations around mental health to increase knowledge and reduce stigma. 

Erika holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Northern Colorado and has been a registered nurse for over 20 years.

Systems Partners

Regional Health Connectors are relationship builders.

Focusing at the systems level, RHCs build and bridge connections with primary care providers, public health organizations, social and behavioral health services, and other community resources to ensure that these partners have knowledge of and access to resources available within their region to meet the needs of their community.
